The camera and photos

The camera, the photos you choose and the QR codes you make are used only inside your browser, on your device. They are not uploaded, and this site has no account, no database and no way to keep them.

What the site keeps

Only one setting, your choice in the Theme list, is remembered in your browser. It never leaves your device. There is no outside analytics service and no advertising.

Installing the app

You can install code.camera from your browser. An installed copy is the same website in its own window. It keeps a copy of the site's files on your device so it opens without a connection, and nothing else.

Hosting

The page is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the request for the page itself.
